ICAT INTERNATIONALControl the air,
from ductwork to comfort.

ICAT International, RTEC and HVAC System: ductwork manufacturing, ventilation, air conditioning and air handling. Complementary expertise for hotels, offices, hospitals and industrial sites in Africa.

Three areas of expertise.
One coordinated system.

System performance depends on how equipment, ducts, air distribution and controls work together. HMA supports specification and the preparation of a solution suited to building use, climate conditions and operation.

ICAT International

Ductwork manufacturing and integration

A Casablanca-based manufacturer and distributor operating since 1977. Circular and rectangular ducts, fittings, grilles and diffusers form the network backbone.

RTEC

Air conditioning and air handling

Splits, VRF, chillers, heat pumps, air handling units, rooftop and precision units, selected according to loads and the required level of control.

HVAC System

Ventilation and airflow

A ventilation range represented by ICAT in Morocco, matched to fresh-air supply, extraction duties and network characteristics.

1977

Industrial origins

Air treatment expertise developed in Morocco.

3

Complementary areas

Manufacturing, ventilation and air conditioning.

B · C · D

Ductwork airtightness

Declared classes depend on the duct family and execution.

ICAT · RTEC · HVAC SYSTEM

From the first duct
to indoor air quality.

Select by function to coordinate the installation and support dialogue between the engineering team, installer and operator.

Ductwork
01

Ductwork

Circular and rectangular ducts, fittings and mounting accessories. Airflow, available pressure, airtightness and space guide the selection.

Air distribution and comfort
02

Air distribution and comfort

Grilles, slot, swirl, multidirectional and long-throw diffusers. Throw and residual velocity are considered alongside acoustics and occupancy.

Cooling and heating
03

Cooling and heating

Splits, multisplits, ducted units, cassettes, VRF, chillers and heat pumps for homes, commercial premises and central plant.

Air handling units
04

Air handling units

AHUs, rooftop and terminal units to match temperature control, filtration and air treatment to the application. Energy recovery depends on the selected configuration.

Hygiene and filtration
05

Hygiene and filtration

SANIX configurations provide cleanable surfaces, section access, drainage and removable components. Filtration up to HEPA H14 depends on the selected AHU and equipment.

Smoke extraction and safety
06

Smoke extraction and safety

Fan boxes, fans, roof fans, fire and smoke dampers. Temperature classes, duration, markings and test reports must match the specified product and system.

Practical benefits
for projects and operation.

01

A coordinated technical chain

Combining ducts, distribution and equipment helps coordinate interfaces. Airflows, pressure losses and sound levels are assessed as a system.

02

A manufacturing base in Morocco

Local production and regional proximity support project-specific configurations. Availability, shipping and lead times are confirmed for each destination.

03

Equipment matched to use

From hotel comfort to precision requirements, a broad range supports selection around the actual building profile.

04

Whole-life cost control

Power input, part-load operation, filter costs, maintenance access and spare parts availability matter alongside the purchase price.

05

Maintenance planned early

Filter access, removable parts, drainage and cleaning requirements inform the specification and help sustain operation.

06

Documented compliance

Selection sheets, certificates and test reports should be obtained for the selected products. A cited standard is not certification of the complete installation.

RTEC · VRF / DC INVERTER

RTEC RV5: modularity
and demand control.

The supplied presentation describes a DC Inverter VRF range, with heat-recovery configurations, corrosion-protection variants and a photovoltaic-connected version. Selection depends on the series, load assessment and operating conditions.

246 kW
Declared maximum combined capacity
80
Indoor units in certain configurations
1,000 m
Declared total piping length for certain series

These maxima may not be available together. Verify combinations, equivalent lengths, height differences, capacity corrections and temperature limits against the selected model data.

Design for heat.
Plan for moisture and maintenance.

In tropical and equatorial climates, selection goes beyond nominal cooling capacity. HMA helps gather the inputs needed by the engineer and manufacturer to validate equipment.

01

Heat and latent loads

Assess outdoor temperature, humidity, occupancy and fresh-air loads. Check sensible and latent capacity at design conditions and part-load control.

02

Condensation and drainage

Specify continuous insulation and suitable vapour control on cold surfaces, accessible drain pans and condensate drainage that can be inspected.

03

Coastal exposure and dust

Define salt exposure, materials and coatings, filtration and cleaning intervals. Confirm corrosion protection on the proposed model.

04

Continuity and maintenance

Document power supply, any redundancy, technical access, filter stock and spare parts availability. Plan maintenance at the design stage.

Demanding uses.
